Ice skating soakers to keep your blades free from rust and your bag intact.
However carefully you wipe your blades after skating, changes in temperature produce condensation and that causes rust. These soakers are made from cotton fabric and lined in 100% cotton terry towelling, to ensure that any moisture is swiftly soaked up. They also stop your blades from shredding the inside of whatever you carry them in.
Available in 3 different sizes (on different listings) and a multitude of print designs, as and when I have suitable fabric available.
***
This listing is for one pair of MEDIUM sized soakers in pure cotton black and white 3mm gingham, lined in white cotton terry towelling.
***
Small - childrens/teens/small adult/dance blades.
Medium - most adult sizes
Large - larger adult sizes
The picture shows a small soaker on an MK Dance blade (shortened heel and toe pick) with a 9.5" base plate, because that's what I wear - make of that what you will!
Custom orders welcome. I'll happily make them from your own fabric if you have a favourite you'd like used, but they do need to be lined in 100% cotton towelling in order to be effective.
Made in Cornwall by a skater.
